Build with Gemma NYC: On-Device AI for Healthcare is a one-day, in-person hackathon building the next generation of healthcare tools with Google's open Gemma 4 models. Approved and prize-funded by Google's Gemma team, with a $2,000 prize pool distributed via Kaggle.Healthcare has the hardest privacy constraints in software, and Gemma 4 is built for exactly that: it runs locally, so patient data never has to leave the device.
