Ethereum MΓ©xico 2026 is a multi-phase hybrid event: five weeks of global online hacking, two in-person experiences in Mexico City, and a final showcase in front of the region's leading digital payments players β€” all united by a single mission: build the infrastructure that puts Payments, AI, and Blockchain at the center of LATAM's economic future.

From day one of the online sprint to the closing showcase at the Stablecoin Conference, every phase is designed to take your project further β€” with bilingual mentorship, product and compliance feedback, and direct access to protocol founders, investors, and regulators actively deploying capital in the region.

Whether you hack fully remotely or join us on the ground in Mexico City, ETH Mexico 2026 is your fastest path from idea to funded product. All hacker access and meals are free for registered participants.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need Web3 experience to participate?

No. The hackathon is designed to be accessible. You'll have technical workshops from zero, bilingual mentorship, and learning resources. Web2 builders are welcome, and non-technical profiles can participate too.

Is the event free?

The main event is free with approved registration. The hackathon may require a refundable deposit as a commitment to participate. Details will be shared during the application process.

Is it only for participants from Mexico?

No. Ethereum MΓ©xico 2026 is a global, bilingual (Spanish and English) hackathon. The online hackathon is open to builders worldwide. In-person Builder Sessions are limited and aimed at teams selected from the hackathon.

Can I join solo or do I need a team?

You can apply individually or as a team. During onboarding we help form teams among participants who don't have a group yet.

Where are the in-person sessions?

The Private Builder Sessions take place at Bitso's offices in Mexico City. The Builders Day is held at Haab Project, Condesa. The Main Conference venue will be announced soon.

What topics and technologies are covered?

Stablecoins, digital payments, remittances, AI Γ— Blockchain, L2s, account abstraction, and payment infrastructure. Full track details will be announced soon.
