About the Hackathon
Hackathon on Mobile Devices Security
Under the MeitY Phase-III project, a Hackathon is being organized at NIT Hamirpur under the Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) initiative. The theme of the event is Mobile Device Security.
The primary aim of this hackathon is to identify talent, promote innovative ideas, and develop practical technological solutions in the field of information security. It also focuses on creating strong connections between students, industry experts, start-ups, and educational institutions to encourage collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) is an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. The program works to build skilled human resources in cybersecurity and raise awareness about cyber hygiene among the general public. Through initiatives like this hackathon, ISEA aims to strengthen India’s cybersecurity ecosystem and prepare students and professionals to tackle emerging security challenges.
