Introduction

Vietnam Build Week 2025 (also known as ETHVietnam 2025) is Vietnam’s largest multi‑chain BUIDLathon, held in Ho Chi Minh City on August 9–10, 2025 at the historic Independence Palace in District 1 (vietnambuildweek.com). It brings together developers, founders, and Web3 enthusiasts across tracks like Base and Zircuit, blending Blockchain, AI, ZK, DeFi, gaming and infrastructure themes into a high‑impact event.

Timeline

• 📅 Event dates: August 9 – 10, 2025 (first day kickoff, second day demo & pitches) (vietnambuildweek.com, Coinpedia Events)
• 🕘 Aug 9 (Day 1): Hackathon kickoff, team formation, tech talks, mentorship
• 🕘 Aug 10 (Day 2): Demo pitch day, judging, winner announcements

Additional internal ticket timeline: early access in July 2025, community open in early August.

Prizes

• Prize distribution: awarded per track (Base & Zircuit & Bitte-Agent) based on judging criteria such as innovation, impact, technical depth (exact split TBD).
• Also includes bounty rewards from sponsors for meeting specific challenges and criteria (e.g. protocol‑issued prizes) (ETHVietnam).

Eligibility

• In‑person attendance only — participants must join offline at the venue (Independence Palace, Ho Chi Minh City) (vietnambuildweek.com).
• Open to builders, developers, Web3 teams, designers, AI/blockchain creators across Asia and globally (ETHVietnam).
• Tracks include: Base, Zircuit, plus others supported by multi‑chain partners.

Judging criteria

Participants compete based on:

• Innovation & novelty — fresh ideas, multi‑chain solutions, real‑world relevance.
• Technical execution — depth of blockchain/A I integration (e.g. ZKP, infra)
• Impact & adoption potential — user or market utility, scalability
• Pitch quality & storytelling — clarity of demo on Day 2
• Sponsor-specific bounty alignment — projects matching sponsor‑issued challenges follow those bespoke criteria (judged by sponsors) (vietnambuildweek.com).
