About the Hackathon

Women Web3 Hackathon

<h3>The registration for the hackathon remains open until October 10th</h3> <h3>We are excited to announce that we have Arbitrum as an official sponsor!</h3>

Pitch Presentation Details:

  • The pitches will be held online and live on November 6th, 7th, and 8th.
  • You will receive the exact date and time slot for your team on November 4th, after the project submissions are finalized.
  • Only the team leader, who we remind you must be a woman, will present the project.
  • You will have 3 minutes to present your project.
  • After the presentation, the judges will ask questions for 2 to 3 minutes.

Teams

The number of people per group will range between 3 and 5.

Organizers

The Women Web3 Hackathon, organized by Vottun & Cryptoconexión, aims to become the leading Hackathon for women developers globally. More than 20 web3 women communities from all over the world will come together in October 2024 to empower women developers in the blockchain space and build the future of the internet.

<h3>Vottun</h3>

Vottun has created a SaaS platform that enables Web2 developers to easily create and manage all sorts of DApps in Web3 through APIs, without requiring advanced knowledge of blockchain programming. An innovative open-source gateway platform for all developers, facilitating a smooth transition from Web2 to Web3 with multi-chain interoperability. The platform is tokenized and gamified so all sort of developers building can get token rewards and have fun entering Web3.

Vottun has been building in the web3 space since 2018 and worked in blockchain projects with over 150 major brands such as PwC, Bimbo, Borges, Mediapro, Nestlé or the Bank of Spain.

<h3>Cryptoconexión</h3>

Cryptoconexión is an educational platform specialized in Web3 and decentralized economy. A space that features prominent collaborators, tools for in-depth exploration, interviews with influential figures, and event coverage to inform about the ecosystem.

Submission Requirements

All submission need to use Vottun APIs and include the following; <br>

  • Incorporate unique use cases or implementation. <br>
  • Demo video illustrating the project in comprehensive detail. <br>
  • Links to your code repository, website and socials to help judges review your submission. <br>
  • In the README: detail why your team went with the approaches they did. <br>
  • In the README: experience developing with Vottun APIs. <br>

Submission Materials: All submission materials must be in English, including the demonstration video, text description, and testing instructions, as well as any other materials submitted.
