Junior Financial Reporting Associate (6-months contract)

About The Role

We are seeking a Financial Reporting to join StraitsX. In this role, you will support the finance team in preparing and recording monthly financial activities, ensuring timely and accurate month-end closing.

What You Will Do

• Record monthly depreciation, amortization, accrued income, and expenses
• Prepare and post manual journal entries
• Gain an understanding of business processes and ensure accurate accounting treatment for related transactions
• Support and collaborate with internal stakeholders on transaction-related business processes

What We Are Looking For

• Educational background in Finance or Accounting
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant work experience
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and organizational skills
• Self-driven with excellent time management abilities
• Highly curious, eager to learn, and proactive
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
