Role Summary:
We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in mobile application testing and automation. The role involves both manual and automated testing, ensuring high-quality mobile and backend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual functional testing for mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain mobile automation scripts using Appium.
- Convert manual test cases into automated test scripts.
- Execute tests on cloud device farms (BrowserStack / SauceLabs / LambdaTest).
- Conduct API testing and database validation using basic SQL.
- Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA with proper root-cause analysis.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of QA experience, with 2+ years in mobile testing.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Appium.
- Experience in manual + automation testing.
- API testing experience.
- Database testing with basic SQL queries.
- Tools: Git, GitHub, JIRA, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions.
- Strong debugging, defect reporting, and analytical skills.
