Quality Assurance - Peoplesoft

WHO YOU ARE:

As a PeopleSoft QA Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in PeopleSoft applications, quality assurance, and enterprise system testing to partner closely with Product, Finance, and Engineering teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable PeopleSoft solutions. You will play a key role in validating system functionality, identifying defects, mitigating risks, and ensuring data integrity across PeopleSoft modules.

You will analyze PeopleSoft systems, business processes, and integrations to uncover issues, influence test strategy, and advocate for quality best practices across teams and leadership. This role requires a proactive approach to embedding quality controls early in the software development lifecycle and ensuring stable and compliant PeopleSoft implementations

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Collaborate closely with Product, Finance, and Engineering teams to validate PeopleSoft Financials (AP, GL, and Cash Management) processes and ensure accurate end-to-end business workflows, including cash reconciliation.
• Identify functional gaps, data discrepancies, and integration risks across PeopleSoft applications, and support timely resolution to maintain financial accuracy and system stability.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and validation scenarios for PeopleSoft AP, GL, and Cash Management modules, including interfaces, batch jobs, and reconciliation processes.
• Perform defect triage, track issues through resolution, and provide clear remediation guidance to functional and technical teams to ensure high-quality PeopleSoft releases.
• Promote best practices in PeopleSoft QA by supporting UAT, improving test coverage, and mentoring team members to strengthen overall quality and process efficiency.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 4 to 7 years of experience in PeopleSoft QA, specifically supporting PeopleSoft Financials modules such as Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Cash Management (CM).
• Strong hands-on experience in functional, integration, and regression testing of PeopleSoft applications, including validation of end-to-end financial processes and cash reconciliation.
• Solid understanding of AP, GL, and Cash Management business processes, accounting principles, and financial data flow across modules.
• Experience in developing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for PeopleSoft configurations, interfaces, batch processes, and reports.
• Ability to identify defects, perform root cause analysis, support UAT, and coordinate with functional and technical teams to ensure accurate and stable PeopleSoft releases.
