Job Summary

The Sr Data Platform Engineer - Reltio MDM Specialist leads the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) infrastructure, with a primary focus on Reltio platform expertise combined with Python-based solutions and AWS cloud services. This role supports critical business functions through sophisticated data governance, including customer data management, cross-system integration, data quality frameworks, and survivorship rule configuration, ensuring reliable, compliant, and scalable MDM solutions across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Expert Reltio MDM Platform (PRIMARY FOCUS)

  • Architect and implement enterprise Reltio MDM solutions including data matching, merging, and survivorship rules for complex customer data scenarios

  • Design and configure Reltio data models including parties, relationships, hierarchies to support business requirements across CRM, CDP, and transactional systems

  • Lead Reltio security and governance including role-based access control (RBAC), data masking, row-level security, and compliance frameworks

  • Build Reltio integration patterns with external systems using APIs, webhooks, and event streaming for real-time data synchronization

  • Optimize Reltio performance through query tuning, caching strategies, and architecture best practices

  • Develop data governance frameworks including validation rules, data quality metrics, and audit trails for master data management

  • Architect, develop, and maintain production-grade Python applications for MDM operations using Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns

  • Build Python-based data pipelines that feed, validate, and manage data flowing into/out of Reltio

  • Develop custom Reltio integrations and utilities using Python SDKs and REST APIs

  • Implement data quality frameworks and validation engines for master data management

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • Reltio MDM Experience (REQUIRED)

  • 2+ years of hands-on Reltio MDM platform experience in production environments

  • Deep expertise in Reltio matching rules, survivorship rules, and data governance configurations

  • Proven ability to design and implement complex Reltio solutions for enterprise data management

  • 5+ years of software development experience with 4+ years of production Python development

  • Expert-level Python skills, including OOP, design patterns, and enterprise-scale development

  • 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience with data-focused services (Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, Kinesis, EventBridge)

  • Deep understanding of data engineering, ETL/ELT patterns, and modern data architecture
