Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer (Flutter) to join a distributed team working on the modernization of a media-focused mobile application. This role involves contributing to the evolution of an existing product by improving architecture, refactoring legacy code, and building scalable, maintainable features. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Flutter (Dart), a solid understanding of mobile architectures, and is comfortable working on real-world applications with technical complexity. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring performance, stability, and long-term maintainability of the application.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using Flutter
Contribute to refactoring and modernization of existing codebases
Improve code quality, scalability, and maintainability
Work with modular architectures, shared libraries, and SDK-style components
Take ownership of features or application modules
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver product requirements
Ensure application performance, stability, and responsiveness
Communicate progress, blockers, and solutions effectively in a distributed environment
Qualifications and Job Requirements
Strong hands-on experience developing mobile applications using Flutter (Dart)
Proven experience working with existing codebases, including refactoring or rebuilding applications
Solid understanding of scalable and modular mobile architectures
Experience working in remote, distributed teams with a high level of autonomy
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Basic understanding of native mobile development (iOS/Android)
Nice to Have:
Experience with media-heavy applications (e.g., content platforms, video, publishing)
Familiarity with shared libraries or SDK-based mobile architectures
Experience with testing strategies in Flutter applications
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and mobile release processes
Additional experience with native technologies (Swift, Kotlin)
Experience optimizing performance in media-rich mobile environments
