    criteria, and testing needs.
  • Assist in basic performance testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling.
  • Use JIRA for defect logging, tracking, and communication.
  • Work with TestRail to map automation scripts to test cases and maintain traceability.
  • Participate in functional, regression, and smoke testing for assigned modules.
  • Gain exposure to cloud-based test execution platforms such as BrowserStack or Selenium Grid.
  • Learn basics of containerized execution using Docker.
  • Refactor test scripts for readability and maintainability.
  • Support automation coverage expansion across products and features.
  • Stay updated with trends in automation, tools, and best practices.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Hands-on practice with at least one automation framework (Selenium, Robot Framework, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and version control (Git).
  • Strong foundational programming skills in Java or Python.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and experience testing them using Postman/REST-Assured.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS) or containerization (Docker) is a plus.
  • Good understanding of SQL for validation of backend data.
  • Exposure to tools like TestRail (or similar) for test case management.
  • Experience with JIRA for defect tracking.
  • Basic knowledge of performance tools like JMeter is desirable.
  • BE/BTech or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
