We attract and scale high growth businesses built and run by visionary entrepreneurs. Each team innovates independently but has a unique opportunity to collaborate, experiment, and grow together, and they are supported by centralized corporate operations functions, including HR, Finance and Legal.

Role Overview
The Senior Internal Communications Manager is responsible for helping bring the internal communications strategy to life through thoughtful planning, execution, and partnership. This role plays a key part in ensuring that employees are informed, aligned, and motivated about our strategy—primarily within QuillBot (~80%), with additional project-based support for Learneo Corporate (~20%).

This person works cross-functionally with leaders across the organization, including the QuillBot CEO, Chief of Staff, VP of HR and Learneo corporate leaders, to deliver clear, consistent, and timely communications that support business priorities and drive strategic alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and operationalize internal communications strategy by turning high-level goals into clear, actionable communications across channels
  • Plan and deliver internal communications for QuillBot, including:
    • Company-wide announcements and business updates
    • Messaging and materials for Town Hall meetings, AMAs, planning, and company moments
    • Drafting and editing communications from executive and functional leaders including strategy roll-outs and updates, presentations, emails.
  • Contribute to communication efforts that support core business rhythms, including onboarding, planning, and progress reporting
  • Support cross-company communications efforts for Learneo, including:
    • Helping review and improve messaging for corporate communications
    • Contributing and driving execution of project-based communications initiatives (acquisition, re-orgs)
  • Coordinate communications logistics and planning, including maintaining comms calendars, aligning on timing, organizing and updating comms material for the business, and managing internal channels (e.g., Slack, email, town halls)
  • Collaborate with the People and Recruiting teams to support communications around HR programs, benefits, and internal employer brand messaging
  • Help execute communication plans for key change initiatives, high-impact projects, and organizational updates
  • Ensure internal messaging reflects inclusive language and reinforces company values, partnering with HR and leaders as needed
  • Contribute to communications planning by sharing input and partnering with stakeholders to ensure clarity, tone, and timing are effective

Qualifications

  • 7–15 years of experience in internal or corporate communications, ideally in high-growth or global remote organizations
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Comfort advising and partnering with executives, with the judgment to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to translate complex strategies into clear, compelling communications across multiple channels (Slack, email, intranet, town halls)
  • Strong track record drafting and editing executive communications, including presentations, emails, and strategy rollouts
  • Experience working effectively with leaders and functions across the organization to align on messaging and communications needs
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a focus on clarity, tone, and inclusivity
  • Familiarity with communications platforms and tools (Slack, intranets, video platforms)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage calendars, timelines, and competing priorities
  • High attention to detail and ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

Scope and Expectations
This role is focused on execution with ownership—taking initiative, managing communications with care, and contributing meaningfully to how the company communicates internally. Strategic direction is developed in collaboration with senior leaders; this role plays a critical part in executing that strategy across teams and moments. Corporate support is project-based and primarily focused on advising and contributing to specific communications initiatives as needed.
