Yes. Token Guard is 100% client-side — no server receives your data. Scanning uses public RPCs to read blockchain state. Revoking sends a standard approve(spender, 0) transaction through MetaMask. You confirm every transaction. The tool never has access to your private keys.

What does revoking an approval actually do?

Accepted Answer

Revoking sets the approval amount to zero (for ERC-20) or removes operator access (for NFTs). This means the previously-approved contract can no longer move your tokens. If you use that dApp again, it will simply ask for a new approval.
