Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with development and IT teams to improve system reliability and performance through continuous integration and delivery practices.
Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Automate configuration management and deployment processes using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
Develop and maintain effective CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to ensure quality and efficiency in software deployments.
Implement and manage monitoring solutions for early detection of system issues using tools like Prometheus.
Work closely with the engineering team to analyse and optimize system performance and scalability.
Ensure robust version control and code management practices through Git, fostering effective team collaboration.
Continuously explore and integrate new technologies to improve our development and operational processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A strong foundation in cloud services, with specific experience using AWS for application deployment and management.
Proficiency in containerization technologies, especially Docker, to manage and streamline development processes.
Hands-on experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes, ensuring system scalability and reliability.
Experience integrating open-source tools like Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible to automate complex networks and applications.
Proficiency in using infrastructure as code tools, especially Terraform, to automate resource provisioning.
Strong understanding of version control systems, with a focus on Git for efficient code management and collaboration.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus for effective performance monitoring and alerting.
